Tell Time Quizmo Game Description:

A bingo style game! Two games in one!

Objective:
Playing Tell Time Quizmo will help children to increase their skill in:
1. Telling time to the hour, half-hour, quarter-hour, and five-minute intervals.
2. Telling time by using the traditional round clock face with two hands.
3. Telling time that is digitally displayed.
4. Using the number of minutes after an hour to calculate the time before the next hour.
5. Using the terms o'clock, after, past, before, to, of, quarter, and half-past in expressing time.
6. Reading times written in words.

Extended Activities:
1. Use a large classroom clock to demonstrate how to set the hands for different times.
2. Draw a clock face on the board and shade it to show half an hour and a quarter of an hour.
3. Children may use a game board to help them practice telling time. On their own paper, they may write out the time shown on each of the 16 clock faces.
4. Explain that there are 24 hours in one day, but because the clock has only 12 numbers, the hour hand has to go around the clock two times in one day. The letters A.M. stand for the time before 12:00 noon. The letters P.M. stand for the time after 12:00 noon.

This game follows the same Quizmo™ success formula:

  • 36 Double-Sided Game Boards

  • 70 Calling Cards

  • Plastic Markers

  • Instructional Guide

  • and more
